Congratulations goes out to the Varsity Baseball team on their win yesterday over the Georgian Bay Secondary School. The boys came out hitting scoring 4 in the first and 7 in the second to push them to a 12 to 1 mercy win. Great game boys. Their next game will be on Tuesday as they will travel to Stayner. The Varsity Lacrosse team took on St. Andrew’s College yesterday in an exciting back & forth match up. With minutes left in a tied game - Eastview scored to secure the win over SAC. Jaiden put one up on the scoreboard and Jayden & Kam contributed two a piece for a 5-4 victory! Awesome team work & fabulous crowd support! Come out and cheer for the team at GB’s as they take on their Catholic school opponents to vie for a spot at OFSAA on the 30th!
Huge Shoutout to our Eastview Girls Rugby team who dominated Georgian Bay yesterday 56-0 to end off the regular season. Tries scored by Mila, Rachel, Katie, Emma, Ashley, Tori, Ava, and Shinia. Your coaches are so proud of you, and we’re excited to kickoff playoffs on tuesday. Awesome job girls!

On Tuesday, Eastview's Girl's Softball team absolutely dominated their double-header in Stayner! Our girls came to play and got a ton of runs! They started strong beating Stayner 24-7. Then they kept their momentum going and beat Elmvale 9-4. Amazing plays by all! Special shout-out to Sydney for her grand slam and Lilo for 3 triples and a home run! Well done, Cats! Our next practice is today after school.

Your Wildcat Rugby Boys Teams played fantastic games yesterday. In the Senior game, Osian had two tries and Cal and Sayer had amazing games.
The Juniors defeated GBD 31 to 3 with too many amazing plays to mention. Great job boys!

Baseball, baseball, baseball: Your Varsity Baseball team had a devastating loss to the coaches yesterday at practice. The players who were brave enough to show up could not keep up to the Uber talented coaches...backed by some great defense from Mr. Keller, some super batting by Mr. Knott, some excellent pitching from Broley, and some big smashes from the always quiet Mr. Kucharshi the coaches reigned Supreme! The boys’ next game will be tomorrow at 2pm at Dana field -- bus leaves at 12:30. Good luck Cats.

Congratulations to the riders on the mountain bike team for their efforts in Midland yesterday. On a super hilly course, Kai pushed the limits and came out with a WIN in the junior boys category. Troy came 3rd for the senior boys, separated from 2nd place by only 11 seconds. Special mentions to Koen for 5th place in the novice division and to Sophie for coming out to her first race! Great efforts by everyone, way to go team!
