The Senior Boys Basketball team took on the Bear Creek Kodiaks yesterday in regular league game play. The boys held the lead for a majority of the game however in the 4th quarter, the result of a shorter bench and some unfortunate turnovers allowed Bear Creek to take the lead and end the game with a final score of 73-70. Lead scorers were Nathan Tucker with 26 points, Brady Swain with 22 points and Kareem Green-Blake with 13 points. Great ball carrying, screen setting and defensive rebounding from Luke Hastings and Joan Colominas. The boys will now travel back to Barrie North this weekend to compete in their second tournament of the season. First game starts today at 5pm. Please plan to be at North for 4pm.

Yesterday your junior girls volleyball team competed in the Georgian College Winter Classic.  After winning their first 3 games the girls dropped matches to St Petes and North ending their day early.  The girls are back in league action next week vs Collingwood.  Good luck!

The junior boys basketball team had an incredible game last night against Bear Creek, beating the Kodiaks 53-41.  James Nightingale and Jayden Scobie led the scoring for Eastview while incredible play making by Graham Galloway and Darius Kent kept our offense moving.  Strong defensive play by Patrick Nightingale and Cal McArthur kept the Kodiaks from making any real comeback.  Great work boys.  Back at it tonight!  Come out to watch your junior boys at the innisdale tournament this weekend.  Game time tonight 3:30!

Congratulations are due to the Boys Curling Team for their hard fought victory yesterday over Bradford.  Despite being short a key player, Dylan Niepage, Cameron Vanbodegom and Dylen Ulens still managed to come out on top with a beautiful fifth end lead of three points which forced Bradford to concede in the 6th end.  Well done guys!

The girls curling team travels to Bradford tomorrow to compete in the Gore Curling Tournament.  Please plan to arrive at the club by 8am. Good luck ladies!

Now for a Wildcat Boys Hockey Update,
