The junior boys basketball team started their season with a 61-42 victory last night against Banting.  Despite having only two practices, the boys managed to effectively implement key team concepts.    Leading the offense was Jayden Scobie scoring 12 points and Brayden Folliott and Darius Kent keeping up the offensive pressure.  In transition Kevin Shang and Liam Alexander put in a solid performance pushing our play into the front court and setting the tone for our offense.  Defensively, Patrick Nightingale, Matt Higgs and Zander Jaglowitz managed to create a number of turnover opportunities while James Nightingale dominated the boards.
Congrats on the win boys but we still have a lot of learning and hard work ahead of us.  Practice tonight at 4:30.   See you there.
