The Knitting Club will continue to meet this week on Thursday at 2:45-3:30 in the library.  Everyone is welcome!

Announcment for Semi Formal
Come take a trip around the world this December 7! Beat the chill this winter in Hollywood, Australia, Egypt or Jamaica! Join us for this Semi Formal, tickets go on sale starting November 26 for $10. Free water and popcorn for all students with a student card.  Sold across from the elevator.  Students are permitted to bring a guest providing they have each guest complete the guest permission form.

Yesterday our Eastview Girls hockey team played in the Midland tournament.
The team defeated Barrie North and JOA in the first two games. Then in the championship we battled the defending champions from St Theresa. The game was tied 4-4 after overtime. In the shootout Alexa Pongo scored the winning goal and goalie Faith Millar stopped all three shooters to preserve the win as Eastview won the championship 5-4.
The coaches want to congratulate the team and to welcome our newest players who played their first games as Wildcats –

Attention Alpine Skiers!!
The snow is here and it's time to prepare for the alpine ski team season! Dryland training starts next week.
Anyone who is interested in joining the team this year should plan to attend a brief 20-30 minute meeting after school on Thursday in room 246.
No previous racing experience is necessary. However, those interested should at least be comfortable skiing blue runs with speed.

This is a reminder to graduating students that the representative from the University of Guelph-Humber will be meeting with students today at 12pm in the cafeteria.

Students participating on the Women in the Trades Conference on Tuesday, Nov 20 will be excused from class at 8:45 and should make their way directly to the front foyer for 8:50.  The bus will return to Eastview at approximately 2pm.

The final try-out for the Junior Boys Basketball team will be held tonight from 5:30-7:00.  A list of the players being invited to tonights tryout will be posted at the beginning of period 3 between the two gyms.

The final tryout for the Senior Girls Volleyball team will be held on Tuesday November 20th at 3:00 for the players who attended the tryouts last week.
