Attention graduates! Grad photos are starting on December 2nd. Don’t miss out, book your appointment now by visiting www.bookmygrad.ca. Our school code is ESO. There are 4 options to choose from! Please choose the option that works best for you. Even if you are not planning on purchasing your grad photos please have your photo taken in order to be included on the composite and in the yearbook.  

Hey Wildcats! K- Cup is approaching fast. Permission forms are available at the wildcat lounge this week, periods 3 and 4. Remember, you must have you STUDENT CARD and a SIGNED permission form, in order to purchase a ticket, online purchasing is available too, but you bring your online receipt to the wildcat lounge to get your ticket. Ticket sales will begin next Monday November 25th to Friday November 29th. Don’t miss out!!

Reminder to all Wildcats to get together a group of friends or register as an individual for Eastview's upcoming girls' volleyball and boys' basketball tournaments! This is your opportunity to have fun on the court with your friends, get some exercise and compete in a round robin tournament. Check the board across from the elevator in the lower hallway for more details. Forms and money are due to Ms. Cain by this Thursday.

Attention Wildcat staff and students!  Spiritwear is now available!  Check out the online store to customize your order by going to Eastview's homepage and clicking on the Spiritwear link or checking your school email.  Hoodies, crew necks, long sleeves and even toques are available in a variety of colours and sizes.  Be sure to place your order by December 5 if you would like it to arrive in time for Christmas.

This is a reminder to graduating students that a representative from Trent University will be meeting with students in the front foyer today from 10:45 to 1:15.

Attention Students: Are you looking for a part-time job or thinking about working this summer? The Youth Job Connection Summer program is looking for students to participate in PAID job readiness training NOW to be ready for a PAID job placement in the summer that aligns with your career goals. For more information and a referral, please see your Guidance Counselor.

Swim Cats you have earned a night off. Practice is cancelled on Tuesday night next week. So no pool, no practice, no Tuesday!

Good morning Orchestra and String Ensemble.  Just 4 more rehearsals until our Collier Performance.  Everyone is expected to be present. See you tonight and every rehearsal afterwards until our performance.

The coaching staff of the boys hockey team want to thank the players for a great day of hockey yesterday at the 4th Annual Blue Puck Cup.  The Eastview boys played 4 excellent  games, saving their best for last with a Shoot Out win over Jean Vanier on goals from Patrick Galloway and Colby Guy. A great tune up for the season opener next Tues. Nov. 26. against Banting.  Stay tuned for reminder announcements.

Attention all Wildcats! The We Scare Hunger campaign is in its final week of collecting food items. The homeroom class that collects the most food items will get a pizza party! So far we have Mr.Dominc’s class in 3rd place with 48 food items, Mr. Champagne’s class in 2nd place with 50 items, and Mr. Greenfield’s class in 1st place with 51 items. You’ve only got until NEXT MONDAY to bring food items in for the final count and winner to be decided. Let’s continue to make a difference for community members in need by bringing in those food donations Monday morning!

Attention Junior Boys Basketball Players!!! Your practice for today has been moved to 4:30 pm in the back gym. The practice will be combined with the Seniors. Any questions, please see Ms. Stam in Resource.

The ALPINE SKI RACE TEAM will be having an information pick up and sign up today between 2:15 and 2:45 pm in room 242. Just come by, sign up and take a package. No previous race experience is necessary. However, those wishing to tryout should be capable of skiing intermediate terrain with confidence. Dry-land training starts next Tuesday. Any questions should be directed to Mr. Darlington who can be found in the science department.

Attention all students who would like to be part of the Nordic ski team. We will have our first dry land training session on Tuesday at 3:00-4:00 in the back gym. Please bring forms to dry land if you have not handed them in yet.If you haven’t picked up forms yet please get them from Ms Roth in the science office. Thank you

Now for a Boys Hockey Update…Yesterday the boys hosted the Annual Blue Puck Cup Tournament at East Bayfield Arena and finished the day with 2 wins and 2 losses.  A big thanks goes out to Mr. Wilson for organizing the tournament.  Way to go Cats!

Have you got your student card yet? You can purchase yours during lunch today and tomorrow at the Wildcat Lounge. If you had your picture taken on retake day, your student card is now available. They are $10 cash or show your SchoolCash online receipt. You will need your card if you want to purchase a K-Cup ticket or Semi ticket. Don’t delay, get your student card today!

Hello all Eastview students = are you writing the OSSLT this year? Our lunch time program to help get you ready will be starting this Wednesday, during period 3 and period 4 lunches. The Program will run 11 and again at 12:15 in room 173. If you have yet to bring in your permission form you still have time- bring it to the office prior the Wednesday.

If you want to stay you have to play. Bring your friends and meet your coach. Next Friday, November 29th will be our first tournament and Eastview needs you, if you have a brain, so don't be a pain and come to room 165 after school today to play the brain game.

Want to make new friends and meet interesting people?  Then join the games club!  We meet TODAY in room 163 after school.  We play mostly board games of all kinds, ...and chess, ...and card games, ...and even D&D.   Come see what we're all about!  Pop and Chips provided!  That's games club, TODAY after school in room 163.  See you there!

Attention: ALL semester 2 Theatre Production students must attend a mandatory meeting TODAY at the start of period 4 in the drama studio. That is: all semester 2 Theatre Production students: there is a mandatory meeting TODAY in the drama studio at the start of period 4. If you are unable to attend you must inform Ms. Bennett before the meeting.

The junior boys' football team players are reminded to get their permission form in to Ms. Hargreaves by Wednesday. There are still 16 players who have not handed in their form.

The Varsity Girls' Hockey Team is reminded that the bus leaves tomorrow at 7:40 from the front of the front of the school. Please let Coach Hargreaves know if you  are unable to attend.

Swim Cats!! If you have not confirmed with Mrs. McLaurin what events you are competing in for the Nov 25th meet in Collingwood, do not assume you are signed up! You MUST see Mrs. McLaurin in the Resource room during per 3 or 4 Today (that's room 167) to verify you are registered, unless you have already signed up at last Thursday's practice. Relay teams: you must also give Mrs. McLaurin the order you will be swimming.

We are selling tickets for 20$ at the wildcat lunge starting today.  You must have a valid student id to purchase a ticket.  Guest forms can also be picked up at the Wildcat Lounge.  Come in your formal attire and get ready for a night to remember!
